Best Kratom Strains And Blends At Taunton Bay

Hey Tribe! Let’s take a dive into a fun subject. Today, we talk about the greatest kratom powder strains and blends at Taunton Bay!

As a part of our Customer Service Team, I often get asked “what are the best kratom strains?”, but this is a tough subject. Kratom, like many herbs, is very subjective and all based on personal preference. Summed up: what works for me, may not work for you. Kratom isn’t for everyone, but any consumer out there would certainly agree that finding the right type is crucial to having a great experience.

In this post, we’re going to breakdown our “best” kratom in a list containing a mix of my favorite TBSC kratom powder products, and those of our customers based on the most frequent purchases. May be you’ll even notice one of your own favorites on this list, or find a new one to try!

1. Green Hulk

Green Hulk is our #1 top-seller, and the original Green Hulk kratom blend on the market. Born in the early days of Dayak Chill Spot in 2014, it is comprised of fresh green vein powder and coupled with just the right amount of white vein kratom. It gives you a dense green powder and strong tea aroma every time!

It’s one of the greatest for a reason too – green vein strains tend to be popular because they are generally a reliable “middle of the road” option that most will enjoy. White vein strains are usually more comparable to kratom’s cousin, coffee, so with just a touch of white vein added in, you really get this well-balanced blend.

2. Synergy Blend

Now, this one is my personal favorite here at Taunton Bay Kratom. If there is anything better than Green Hulk, it’s our Synergy blend. Made with a bright mix of green, white, and yellow kratom types, this blend has been my morning go-to since we released it 6 or 7 years ago. Cracking open the bag, I can just smell my day’s potential with it’s fresh, grassy scent and enjoy the finely powdered texture.

If you’re not familiar with our Yellow Vietnam, that’s ok! It’s one of the more rare and obscure kratom strains on the market. But if you like green kratom, yellow might be your next best! While each has their differences, in my personal opinion, yellow and green kratom are very similar “middle of the road” options. We already know green and white kratom work well together, so throw a yellow strain in and you’ve got a real terrific trifecta!

3. Red Maeng Da

This classic red vein strain is a must-have from Taunton Bay Kratom. The Red Maeng Da name may have a strange story behind it’s origins, but this strain holds its own and it certainly belongs in the top 3!

Side Note: The “Maeng Da” kratom name has been rumored online to loosely translate to “pimp’s grade”, which created a little inside joke for locals back in the day. In the early days of kratom discovery, tourists would search around for the best kratom and be told to ask for “Maeng Da”. The tourists, not really knowing much about it, the region, or their language would do just that. I like to imagine the local folks would say something like “sure, follow me to my Maeng Da!” and later have a hearty laugh at the tourist’s expense.

Nowadays, just about every vendor online carries a Maeng Da strain or blend. What makes a product a Maeng Da? Kratom strains are generally labelled as “Maeng Da” (also known as “MD”) by any given vendor for various reasons – because it’s labelled as such by their supplier, or perhaps it’s their personal favorite, “strongest”, or best-selling strain or blend. Our supplier offers multiple vein color Maeng Da options, which is why we offer it in Red, White and Green.

4. Thunderstruck Blend

Our Thunderstruck blend is the original Thunderstruck (also known as “White Lightening” elsewhere) and is a well-loved mix of all of our white vein strains! It is a beautifully balanced blend and highly rated among our customers.

Like all of our other blends, this powder comes out dense, fresh, and fluffy. For any white vein kratom fan out there, this enthusiastic and upbeat mix will surely make you starstruck, if not thunderstruck!

5. Rainbow Blend

Our Rainbow blend is truly something for everyone with it’s colorful mix of every type we carry! It contains equal parts of our fresh and lab tested red vein, green vein, white vein, and yellow vein kratom powders. This is the ultimate “full spectrum” experience from Taunton Bay, and one of the products I most recommend to any new customer or those looking for something to switch up their routine.

With it’s fresh scent and dense texture, I have sung nothing but praises for Rainbow blend myself, though some do find it to be a little overpowering if you are extremely sensitive to white vein strains, since approximately 25% is white vein kratom powder. Despite that, it remains one of our top sellers each month and it’s the perfect product to complete your collection!

6. White Horn

Our White Horn Kratom is the ultimate single strain for white vein kratom enthusiast. It is generally some of our highest testing product and is a dense, white kratom powder with a strong tea aroma. White Horn is one of the most-purchased types in our Kilo Variety Pack – which is saying something!

7. Green Maeng Da

Second only to our Green Hulk blend, our Green Maeng Da is very much a routine top-5 product each month at Taunton Bay Soap Company. It’s a dense, clumpy-fresh green powder with a strong grassy aroma – everything you demand from a top-notch Maeng Da strain!

It brings the expected balanced green vein experience, being preferable to the it’s white vein sibling for those who are sensitive to white kratom types. This is another strain I often recommend to new customers.

8. Red Bali

Red Bali is a single red vein strain and anything but standard! It tends to be a richer red vein powder with a dense texture and a strong forest-y scent. I have often enjoyed Red Bali in the afternoon or evening, and I personally love to blend this one with a green or white vein strain at times.

Red Bali is fights with Red MD as our top red vein strain with customers, being a little more mellow than most batches of the Red Maeng Da it is a favorite among red vein kratom fans.

9. White Meng Da

White Maeng Da is a single strain white vein kratom, and as some would say “the king” of kratom powders! This dense, white kratom powder comes with a super strong tea aroma. It’s an exciting white strain and another customer favorite battling for the top 3 spots at Taunton Bay Soap Company.

As with our other Maeng Da strains, this tends to be one of our most popular items overall and one of the most recommended white strains we keep in stock.

10. Yellow Vietnam

Our Yellow Vietnam, as mentioned above, is a more rare single strain kratom. It’s texture is the high quality, dense, and finely-powdered freshness you deserve from TBSC. But the color is often a little different – somewhere between a lighter green to a yellowy-white hue, while the scent is a more grassy and leafy aroma.

Yellow strains tend to be somewhere in the middle, like a green strain or a more mild white vein kratom. A lot of our customers enjoy it on it’s own, while I prefer our Yellow Vietnam in blends like Synergy or Starburst (which was an honorable mention for this list!). I consider this to also be a good “switch up” strain for those who usually prefer green vein kratom as well. Being as versatile as it is, I had to put it in our top 10 for this blog post!
