The red peel holds the dark seed in the center of the white inner layer of fruit, making it look strikingly like an eyeball hanging from a tree. Ignoring the otherworldly appearance, this herb holds historical & cultural significance to the tribes of the area, & today, is found often in energy drinks as Guarana naturally produces caffeine & a wealth of other compounds that may support energy & mood balance, in a similar fashion to coffee.
