Kratom Price Increase Coming 10/1/26

 We hope you're enjoying your fall so far, and as we come to the end of a hectic, rollercoaster of a year, we are working on changes to our business to better serve you - our customers - and make sure we can continue to take care for our employees.

Upcoming Changes To Pricing

 We'll just get right to it - there is one more, and hopefully final, price increase coming to our kratom products on October 1st, 2026. This will be the last increase for the year, and we will revisit our needs and abilities again after the holidays. 

 We don't want to do this again - we didn't want to increase our prices in August, either. But as you all are probably aware of now, there has been a lot of changes to the community this year, and costs on many levels for the world as a whole.

 Many states outright banned kratom despite the tireless efforts of our advocates - sadly, losing some of our customers, and, unfairly removing their ability to access kratom. Some states decided on expensive regulation measures, like instating costly kratom company AND product registries and excessive testing requirements.

 The price of doing business has recently taken another price hike, as well. As we've had to change our labels to suit the new laws, update our testing practices, and adjust to higher shipping costs, plus providing the bare minimums like electric, heating oil, and office supplies, has caused us to reevaluate our financial needs.

 We need to take action now so that we can continue to serve you the best products we can source and provide the level excellence in service you've come to expect from Taunton Bay. 

 We are not the only ones increasing prices at this time, and we will not be the last vendor to make this announcement. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and extra burden this has caused our customers and the many other consumers in the community. Whether you shop with Taunton Bay, or somewhere else, we know this is not easy.

The Good News

 There is good news to this though - and we're happy to announce some major changes coming in the next month, as well as over the next year. Some that we hope will help take some of the sting off of the increase in prices for our community.

 What you can expect by or in October of 2026:

• We're creating an affiliate program to reward those who refer friends, viewers, readers, etc. I'll be working on this today - after I publish this blog entry, in fact - so it will be available very soon, along with more details.
• We've already lowered prices in the Sale Section for our kratom powder and capsules. These are the same products available at regular price - we just set aside a select number of packages of various types for a cheaper price, aiming to help those who need a financial break. The products offered are changed out every month or so, and are available while supplies last, until the next round is posted.
•  We'll be offering add-ons and bundle deals at a discounted price, every day. You'll be seeing those pop up very soon! (Another thing I hope to work on today.)

What you can expect to see January 1st 2027 and beyond:

• We're extending our sales. Most sales have been for 1-day only, and we've heard from customers that they sometimes miss these sales. We want everyone to have ample opportunity to take advantage of savings, so we are going to start offering 3-day+ and weekend sales next year. 
• This includes our Today's Special bundle, which we offer at least once a month. It rotates to include 2x 125's of your choice, or 2x 250's of your choice for a very discounted price. Please note, the prices on these will also raise a few bucks, but will still give you the 25%+ off discount you expect!
  
• We'll be offering better discounts when we have sales. We'll still have a few 10% Off codes, but most sales will 15% off and 20% off, and we'll be keeping Free Ship Friday.
• Loyalty Rewards will finally make their return! If not before, then directly after the holidays, we will be re-instating loyalty rewards to offer customers rewards in exchange for points, like free shipping, order discounts, and free products.
